**Express Wig Braids Return, Refund & Exchange Policy**
At Express Wig Braids, we take pride in delivering high-quality, handmade, custom wigs. Every unit is carefully inspected before shipping to ensure it meets the standards our customers expect. Because our wigs are custom made and hygienic items, our policies are designed to protect you and maintain product integrity.
Please review the information below before placing your order.
1. General Policy (Please Read Before Ordering)
- All wigs are handmade and customized, therefore not eligible for return unless an error was made on our end.
- Please read each product description carefully and select all custom options correctly (color, length, density, baby hair option, cap size, addition notes if any, and other custom features). Combs are added on all full lace orders automatically. Please type at the note section if you don’t want them added.
- If some options are not selected, your wig will be made exactly as shown in the first product photo and described on the product page.
- We are not responsible for verifying your selections, and such orders are not eligible for return or refund.

2. Return Policy (Authorization Required)
Do not return any order without authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be accepted, exchanged, or refunded.
If you have an issue with your order:
1. Contact us at info@expresswigbraids.com within 72 hours of receiving your wig.
2. Provide your:
• Order number
• Detailed description of the issue
• Clear front and back photos of the wig
We will review your case to determine whether the issue resulted from our error within 1-2 business days. If a return is approved:
• We will provide the return address.
• The wig must be shipped within 24–48 hours using a trackable shipping method.
• Returns sent without tracking, outside the timeframe, or without authorization will be cancelled.
Condition of Returned Items
Approved returns must be:
- Unworn, unused, and unaltered
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by all promotional items or gifts
- Shipped via a trackable carrier
- We are not responsible for returned packages lost in transit.
3. Refund Policy
Wigs are considered hygienic products. Opened, worn, or altered wigs are not eligible for return or refund.
Refunds are issued only in exceptional cases where:
- An error was made by us
- An identical or equivalent replacement is unavailable
If a refund is approved:
- Please allow 5–7 business days for processing after we receive and inspect the item.
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
- Funds may take 7–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
- Please contact us if you still didn’t receive your refund after the stated timeframe above has passed.
4. Exchange Policy
During Sale Periods
- Order changes may be made within 24 hours of purchase, before production begins.
- Once production starts, changes are no longer possible.
- If you wish to cancel after production has begun, cancellation fees apply (see Cancellation Policy below).
After Sale
- Exchanges are only available if the error was made by us.
- In rare cases, an exchange may be offered for an item from our Ready to Ship collection (if available).
- Customers may pay the price difference for a higher-value wig.
- No refunds or store credit are issued for post-sale exchanges unless the fault is ours.
Please ensure you review all wig details information like the size charts, color charts, lace material types, length, density/thickness, wig maintenance and product details carefully before ordering.
5. International Returns (Outside the USA)
Please label your return package as “RETURN, NO DUTIES.” If duties are charged, the package may be returned to you.
6. Cancellation Policy
Our custom wigs require labor and materials to begin production, and payment providers charge non-refundable processing fees. Because of this:
- Orders cancelled within 24 hours incur a 15% cancellation fee.
- Orders cancelled after 24 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Once an order has been delivered, it cannot be cancelled.
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at info@expresswigbraids.com.
The cancellation time will be based on the timestamp of your email.
7. Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and business, additional verification may be required if your billing and shipping addresses do not match.
If valid identification cannot be provided, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
8. Final Notes
- All returns, refunds, and exchanges are subject to this policy.
- Express Wig Braids reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet these conditions.
